Emmeline McCracken
Emmeline is a Music Therapist based in Aberdeen, who has been part of the Balkans Music Camps since 2008. She runs ELM Music Therapy and specialises in additional support needs, mental health and terminal illness. Emmeline is also an accompished violinist and pianist.
Christina Bain
Christina is a community musician based in Edinburgh. She currently works for the University of Edinburgh, teaching on the Music in the Community course. This will be her tenth year working on the camps. She is also involved in music projects with children across the globe.
Professor Nigel Osborne
Nigel started the Balkans Music Camps twenty years ago during the conflict of the 1990s. He is a renowned musician and composer who was Reid Professor at the Univeristy of Edinburgh and lectures all over the world. Nigel has worked in the most challenging regions of the world, giving opportunites for creative and therapeutic music making.
Tony Pesikan - Sarajevo
Tony has been an integral member of the Balkans Music Camps for many years and is a highly regarded community musician having worked all over the world for a number of renowned organsations including Musicians Without Border, Warchild and the Global Children Organisation. He is an extremely talented percussionist.
